What Is a Piss Pig? Watersports, Pleasure & Pig Culture

There's a difference between enjoying watersports and being a piss pig.

Plenty of blokes enjoy a bit of piss play. Some try it once, some do it occasionally, and some absolutely love it.

I'm firmly in that last group.

But being a piss pig isn't just about liking piss. It's about the attitude that comes with it.

So, let's talk about it.

What Is a Piss Pig?

A piss pig is someone who's really into watersports and happily embraces that side of their sexuality.

And if you're wondering what watersports means, we're talking about piss. Giving it, receiving it, or both.

The pig part comes from gay fetish culture.

A pig is someone who loves sex, enjoys getting filthy and isn't particularly interested in pretending otherwise. It's about having an appetite for the things that turn you on.

Add watersports to the mix and you've got yourself a piss pig.

It's not a title you have to earn. You don't need to attend a certain number of parties or do anything particularly outrageous.

If the term feels right, use it.

It's Not All About Domination and Submission

A lot of people assume watersports is always about one bloke dominating another.

One gives. One receives. End of story.

Except it doesn't work like that.

Sure, some men love the power exchange. For others, humiliation is part of the fun. And plenty enjoy switching roles.

But sometimes there's no big power dynamic at all.

You're two blokes who enjoy piss, and you're having a good time.

That's certainly how I see it.

I don't need to feel dominant or submissive to enjoy watersports.

I just love it.

Why Does Piss Play Feel So Good?

For me, one of the best things about watersports is the physical sensation.

Think about the relief of having a really good piss when your bladder's full.

Now add someone who actually wants to be part of that experience.

I've always thought pissing has something in common with cumming. There's the build-up, the release and the pleasure of knowing the other bloke is enjoying it too.

And the release lasts a lot longer.

Receiving is even better for me.

There's the warmth, the sensation of getting wet and the feeling of being completely covered.

It's a very different experience from simply having someone touch you.

And that's something that gets missed when people talk about watersports as though it's only about humiliation or control.

Sometimes the physical feeling is the whole point.

Of course, other piss pigs will have their own reasons for loving it. That's the beauty of kink. We don't all get off on the same things.

My Favourite Experiences Haven't Been Planned

I've had some great experiences with watersports, but one of my favourites happened at a bush doof.

I'd had a few drinks and was having fun with a couple of blokes when one mentioned he needed a piss.

My response was pretty simple.

"On me, please."

And that was that.

No elaborate setup. No special equipment. Just a couple of blokes enjoying themselves.

I'd still love to experience one of those big, dedicated piss parties you hear about in places like London.

A whole venue full of men who are into the same thing sounds like a pretty good afternoon to me.

But you don't need a dedicated fetish party to have a memorable experience.

Sometimes the best moments happen when you're not expecting them.

What Makes Someone a Pig?

You'll hear the word pig used quite a bit in gay leather and fetish circles.

And it doesn't refer to just one kink.

There are sex pigs, rubber pigs, pit pigs, piss pigs and plenty of blokes who enjoy a combination of things.

For me, being a pig is about enthusiasm.

You know what turns you on. You enjoy it. And you're not particularly interested in pretending you're more respectable than you are.

That doesn't mean anything goes.

You still need to know what the other bloke is into, respect his boundaries and make sure everyone's on the same page.

Being a pig isn't an excuse to be a dick.

It's about enjoying your kinks with people who enjoy them too.

Yellow Means Watersports, and It's Not Just Hankies Anymore

If you've spent any time around gay fetish culture, you'll probably know that yellow means watersports.

That comes from the Hanky Code, the old system of coloured handkerchiefs gay men used to signal their sexual interests.

Traditionally, a yellow hanky worn on the left meant you were interested in giving. On the right, receiving.

But let's face it, you don't see nearly as many blokes walking around with hankies hanging out of their back pockets these days.

The colours have moved on.

Now you'll see yellow worked into all sorts of fetish gear.

Black and yellow leather harnesses. Yellow boots. Yellow stripes on leather gear. Yellow jocks, bandanas and T-shirt designs.

I've even had yellow hair before.

Subtle? Not particularly.

But that's half the fun.

The colour has become a way of showing what you're into without necessarily spelling it out.

And while a yellow harness doesn't tell you exactly what someone wants to do, it can certainly get a conversation started.

That's one of the things I love about the old Hanky Code. Even though the way we use it has changed, the colours still mean something.

Finding Other Piss Pigs

One thing I'd love to experience is a proper large-scale watersports party.

There have been dedicated events and clubs around for years, particularly in cities with established gay fetish scenes.

And what I find interesting is the mix of people they attract.

Different ages, different backgrounds, different lives.

But they're all there because they share an interest.

That's what I like about fetish communities in general.

You can walk into a space where something you've always enjoyed is completely normal to everyone else in the room.

Nobody needs a lengthy explanation.

You can just be yourself and enjoy the company.

Of course, not everyone lives somewhere with a dedicated fetish scene.

Sometimes finding your people happens online, at a leather event, at Pride, or simply because you spotted a bloke wearing the right colours.

Which brings us back to yellow.

Our Happy Little Piss Pig

When we came up with the Happy Little Pig range at Backroom Gear, we wanted something that looked cute but had a filthy little meaning behind it.

And the Happy Little Piss Pig was an obvious choice.

A cheerful cartoon pig. A yellow design. A message that means one thing to the general public and something quite different to a bloke who knows his hanky colours.

That's exactly the sort of thing I love wearing.

You don't need to announce your entire sexual history to everyone you meet.

Sometimes a cute little pig does the job for you.

So, Does Liking Watersports Make You a Piss Pig?

Not automatically.

Some men enjoy watersports occasionally and leave it at that.

Others consider it a big part of their sexuality and proudly call themselves piss pigs.

And some pigs aren't into watersports at all.

There's no rulebook.

For me, it's a kink I genuinely love. I enjoy giving, I enjoy receiving, and I'm quite happy for people to know it.

I don't think it needs a complicated explanation.

Sometimes something turns you on because it feels fantastic.

And sometimes you find a bunch of other blokes who feel exactly the same way.

That's good enough for me.

Oink, oink. 🐷
